The 3.4L v-6 was the last 60 degree used in the camaros. The first was a 2.8L in the third gen, then an updated 3.1L. The 3.4L came out in 1993 in the forth gens. It uses alot of the same parts and can be slightly modified for good gains. Although trying to get serious power out of a 3.4 will be very expensive and it would be cheaper to swap to a v-8.

Some of the common available modification for the 3.4 are headers( I know pacesetter sells these) Cold air induction kits, cat back exaust, camshatfs and roller rockers are also available for the 60 degree v-6.
Cylinder head and intake porting are also options for more power. Although in my opinion this is getting to the point where it is less economical to keep modding the v-6 and would be better off with a v-8 swap.
Computer tuning for you combo will pick up some power.

The v-6 cars are not very good to modify to gain power, even after doing quite a few things you are still far off from even a stock v-8. But they are great reliable engines and economical to drive. I have seen several and owned one with over 200 thousand miles on it. Maintaining it preperly and doing regular services the 3.4 will live a long time. and keep you camaro rolling dow the highway.
