Cowl Induction hoods were optional on first generation Camaros, and are a popular modifcation on every generation. Cowl induction hoods can be identified by a raised scoop on the hood, with an opening by the windshield. They are named cowl induction, because cool air is forced off of the cowl area into the engine bay.
