1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28/SS
The 1996 Camaro SS was an exciting return of the model since it was the first year of production since 1972. Chevrolet decided to bring in the help of SLP(Street Lethal Performance) Engineering. Chevrolet sent SLP the Camaro Z28 for them to create the Super Sport Camaro. SLP added the base SS package options and also additional options upon order. The production of Camaro SS cars that year ended up being only 2,410. This ended up being the rarest year SS Camaro Chevrolet has offered to date. The limited production of this model meant that you could only purchase one in the following colors: Black, Polo Green, Red, Teal, and White. The SS was offered with 305 HP compared to the 285 HP of the same year Z28.
