CMC features domestic pony cars such as Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Pontiac Firebird in two classes, Camaro Mustang Challenge (CMC), and Camaro-Mustang Challenge 2 (CMC2). CMC started in the early 90's in California, and has grown into one of the most spectacular racing class at NASA events around the country.

CMC races are run at all NASA regional events, as well as the annual National Championships held each year at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
